Luowang Miao nationality township
It belongs to Yiliang County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province. It is located at the junction of five counties and eight townships in Yunnan and Sichuan provinces. It has obvious geographical advantages and is the main road to Luowang, which leads to Zhenxiong and Weixin.
It covers an area of 167.7 square kilometers, with an altitude of 650-1892 meters. The mountains are high and steep, and the land is barren. There are three ethnic groups, Han, Miao and Yi, living in it. It is one of the poor ethnic villages in the county.
There is the third "hand in hand" Hope Primary School in China and Haiziping, a provincial nature reserve.
As of December 2008, three power stations have been built, namely Tangfang, Zhongchang and Luowang, with an installed capacity of 5860 kW. Five power stations, namely fengjiagou, Yunfeng, Lianhe, Xikou and Yaochang, have been preliminarily approved. The survey of Baishuijiang cascade power stations has been completed.

As of December 2008, the township has 8 villager committees and 197 villager groups, with a total number of 6916 households and a total population of 29383 (including 633 non-agricultural population). Among them, there are 3 Miao villages (Yunfeng, shucao, Chayuan, shucao are the key poverty alleviation villages), with 1 371 households and 6432 people, accounting for 21.9% of the total population. There are 213 Yi people in 47 families, accounting for 0.72% of the total population, 2857 extremely poor people, 7601 low-income people, accounting for 35.6% of the total population, and 12905 labor force.

The total area of cultivated land is 32253.9 mu, including 5110 mu of paddy field and 22536 mu of slope land above 20 degrees. The land has been converted to forests for 11065 mu, including 337 mu for peach 99, 500 mu for grapefruit, 3845 mu for orange, 2371 mu for pear, 784 mu for Cizhu and 800 mu for Phyllostachys pubescens. There are 108000 mu of ecological forests in the township, with a forest coverage rate of 42.9%. In addition, there are 12300 mu of Citrus based economic forest.

As of November 2008, there is a junior middle school in the township, with 20 classes, 1348 students and 72 teaching staff, including 69 full-time teachers, 100% professional teachers, 1686 school-age teenagers (5 Disabled Teenagers), 1600 junior middle school students, and the gross enrollment rate of junior middle school is 95.18%. There are 33 primary schools, including 12 complete primary schools, 10 junior primary schools and 11 single primary schools. there are 4778 students and 213 teaching staff, including 205 full-time teachers (60 substitute teachers). The qualification rate of full-time teachers is 100%. There are 3873 school-age children, 3816 of whom have enrolled in school, with the enrollment rate of 98.5%.
