Chumi Town, belonging to Tongzi County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, is located in the middle of Tongzi County. It is connected with Mazong Miao Township in the East, Loushanguan town in the south, jiuba town in the west, Yelang town in the northwest and Dahe Town in the north, with an administrative area of 140.36 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Chu Mi town was 28739. As of October 2019, Chumi town has four communities and three administrative villages.

History of construction
From the 29th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1601) to the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to qinxili in Tongzi County.
In the 34th year of Guangxu (1908), Li was changed into District, and qinxili was changed into the first district.
In 1954, Tongzi County was divided into 11 districts and Chumi into three districts.
In August 1958, Yuantian commune and Chumi commune were established.
In 1984, it was changed to Chumi town and Yuantian township.
In July 1992, Yuantian Township and Chumi town merged into Chumi town.
