Yiguojue Township
Located in the north of Meigu county. It is adjacent to ANIMU Township in the East, Saku, tagu and bingtu townships in the south, Suluo Township in the west, and wahou District, Lewu Township in Ebian Yi Autonomous County and gegu Township in Ganluo County in the north. The township is towering in the northwest. Amitro mountain is the highest, with an altitude of 3855 meters. The township government is next to yiguojue village on the West Bank of Meigu River, with an altitude of 2270 meters. Chengmei highway runs through the whole country. The rural area is 145.53 square kilometers.
Introduction to villages and towns
It governs six villages, namely yiguojue, gutuo, chuhongjue, mahongjue, Muer and cainaijian. 26 groups, 858 households, 3735 people, including 3605 Yi and 130 Han. The population density is 25.66 per square kilometer.
In July 1956, it was established as a township under the jurisdiction of yiguojue District, Hongxi county. In August 1957, it was transferred to Chengguan town. In October 1958, after the abolition of Chengguan Town, chuhongjue, mahongjue and ANIMU townships were merged into the Township People's Committee, which was subordinate to the first district of Hongxi county. And the county is subordinate to Hongxi district. In April 1968, the Township Reform Committee was established. On February 16, 1972, it was converted into a commune. On July 12, 1981, the commune reform committee was changed into the management committee. In July 1984, the township system was restored and the township government was established.
On January 12, 2021, Sichuan Provincial People's government decided to abolish yiguojue Township and Waxi Township and establish Hongxi town. The former administrative region of yiguojue township is the administrative region of Hongxi town. The people's Government of Hongxi town is located at No. 1, yiguojue street, yiguojue village.

In 1990, the total agricultural output value of the township was 916000 yuan (346000 yuan for agriculture, 31000 yuan for forestry, 371000 yuan for animal husbandry, 168000 yuan for sideline and fishery); the area of cultivated land was 5295 mu, and the total grain output was 1063000 kg. The main production of potato, buckwheat, corn, oats, pepper, walnut. There are 958 yellow cattle, 157 yaks, 32 horses, 2219 pigs, 1870 goats and 4456 sheep. There are 1 bank credit union, 5 rural primary schools with 100 students, 1 health center and 1 medical staff in the township.
