Gari township is subordinate to Ganluo County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It is located at 102 ° 39 ′~ 102 ° 44 ′ E and 28 ° 49 ′~ 28 ° 56 ′ n, in the South East of Ganluo county. Gari township was established in 1957, transferred from sijue district to Yutian District in 1960, rebuilt into gari people's commune in 1973, renamed as gari people's commune in 1980, withdrawn from gari Township in 1984, merged into Yutian town in 1992, and restored to township in 1994.
