Guantian Township

Guantian township is located along Shuangjiang road in the east of Nanjiang County, Sichuan Province. It is adjacent to Tiechang township of Tongjiang County in the East, Guanlu Township in the west, Xingma Township in the South and Hongyan Township in the north. It is known as the "East Gate of Nanjiang". The township governs 4 villages, 27 villager groups, 2816 people (2017); there are 23 village group cadres and 110 party members. In December 2019, Bazhong Municipal People's government decided to abolish guantian Township and establish Guanlu town.
