Taolong Tibetan Township
Taolong Tibetan township is located in the northwest of Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, 85 km away from Yongchang Town, the new County town of Beichuan. It is connected with Xiaoba Township in the East, Yuli town and machao Township in the south, Baishi Township and qingpian Township in the west, and Piankou Township in the north. On March 5, 2003, the town and township profile was set up separately from the original Xiaoba township. It covers an area of 67.22 square kilometers and has a total population of 3310 (2017), mainly Tibetan and Qiang. With an average altitude of 1400 meters, the township governs longzang, which means "Zhaizi in the valley" in Chinese. It is 62 kilometers from Xiaotao and Beisong highways to Qushan in the county seat. Tibetans are descendants of Tibetan frontier guards in the Tang Dynasty. They are part of baicaofan in the Ming Dynasty. Every year, a Grand Lama meeting is held in June of the lunar calendar to kill sheep. Deep sinicization, the whole nation uses Chinese Sichuan dialect, a few know Tibetan and Qiang language vocabulary.

Taolong Tibetan township is located in the northwest of Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Mianyang City, 85 kilometers away from Yongchang Town, the new County town of Beichuan (the distance after the tunnel road is connected). Taolong Tibetan township is located in the northern section of Longmen mountain range, which is a high mountain and deep valley zone. The Valley Flat dam is scattered. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast, with an average altitude of 1400 meters. The highest point in the territory is located in Baiya, with an altitude of 2722 meters, and the lowest point is located in Fenghuang bridge, with an altitude of 896 meters.
Township territory is subtropical humid plateau climate, continental monsoon climate characteristics are significant, characteristics: warm winter and cool summer, long frost free period, abundant precipitation, heavy rain in summer, rain in autumn, sufficient light. The annual average temperature is 15.3 ℃, and the precipitation is mainly concentrated from May to September, with the most in July. The river in the territory is a tributary of Tongkou River in Fujiang River Basin. The main tributaries are Wulong River and Tielong River, with a total length of 43 km.
Historical evolution

Population nationality
At the end of 2011, there were 3476 people in the area, mainly including Qiang, Tibetan and Han nationalities. Among them, 1898 people were Qiang nationality, accounting for 54.6% of the total population; 839 people were Tibetan nationality, accounting for 24.1% of the total population; 737 people were Han nationality, accounting for 21.2% of the total population. It is the only Tibetan village in Beichuan.

The proven mineral resources in the territory are phyllite, with the colors of blue gray, bean green, white and black. There are eucommia, Cortex Phellodendri, Magnolia officinalis, Coptis chinensis, Chonglou and other herbal medicines; Davidia involucrata, Ginkgo biloba, Taxus chinensis; there are national second-class protected plants such as Ilex and arhat; national first-class protected animals such as giant panda and golden monkey.

Corn and potatoes are the main food crops in the township. In 2011, 2010 tons of grain were produced, 597 kg per capita, including 1048 tons of corn and 343 tons of potatoes. Animal husbandry is mainly based on pig, sheep, cattle and poultry. The economic forest is 58000 mu, including 50000 mu of Coptis chinensis and Magnolia officinalis, 3000 mu of Alpine nursery, 4000 mu of Alpine walnut, 800 mu of green prickly ash and 200 mu of tree shaped honeysuckle.
Local local products mainly include peach red wine, corn flour, tofu Moyu, Gaoshan traditional Chinese medicine, Taolong Gaoshan high-quality walnut, etc. Among them, peach red wine is produced in Taohong village, which is combined with peach blossom and peach dragon as "three peaches". Taohua's girl, Taolong's boy and Taohong's wine jar are well-known and have a long history. Peach red wine is the wine of love in Taolong town. This wine is brewed from the golden corn of Tibet, and is blessed by people. It means "peach blossoms, yellow dragons and red happiness".
