Xiaogan town is under the jurisdiction of Jingyang District, Deyang City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the northern suburb of Deyang City and Fuxi road. It is a provincial pilot town of small towns. The town covers an area of 25.91 square kilometers, with 10 administrative villages (stations), 1 neighborhood committee and 72 villager groups. In November 2017, Xiaogan town was awarded the fifth national civilized village.

In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee reconfirmed the national health city (District) and national health township (county), Xiaogan town as the National Health township.

Xiaogan town has a unique natural condition for the development of industry and agriculture because of its flat terrain, artesian irrigation, drought and flood.
