Rongxi town
Rongxi Town, subordinate to Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the west of Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, with Zhonghe street and Wuyang street in the East, nanmu township of Xiyang County in the west, Gaotian town in the South and Xikou town in the north. It is 22 kilometers away from the county seat of Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, with a total area of 110.49 square kilometers.
In 1375, Rongxi town belonged to zhimaziping, Rongxi county. In July 2001, it was changed from Rongxi township to Rongxi town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 22322. As of June 2020, Rongxi town has two communities and six administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in wangjiachong group of Chenguang community.

History of construction
Ming Hongwu eight years (1375), is Rongxi zhimaziping long lawsuit.
In the 29th year of Jiajing reign of the Qing Dynasty (1550), zhimaziping chief of Rongxi was removed and xuanweisi of Youyang was established in Zhili. In the first year of Qianlong (1736), Xiushan was set up as a county. Rongxi was delimited from Youyang and belonged to riqili of Xiushan County.
In 1933, it belonged to riqili township. In May 1938, Rongxi town was established. In 1941, Rongxi town was changed into Rongxi township.
In September 1958, Rongxi township was changed into Rongxi commune.
In November 1983, Rongxi township was changed into Rongxi commune.
In July 2001, Rongxi township was changed from township to town.
