Pulu street, belonging to Tongliang District of Chongqing, is located in the east of Tongliang District, adjacent to Bishan road and Batang town in the East, Qinglong Town in the south, Dongcheng Street in the west, Jiuxian town in the north, 13 km away from the people's Government of Tongliang District, 61 km away from the government of Chongqing, 15 km from the east to the west, 8 km from the north to the south, with a total area of 66.6 square kilometers.
In 1775, huluchang was set up near Pulu street; in 2014, it was changed from Pulu town to Pulu street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Pulu street was 38176, including 4600 urban permanent residents. As of June 2020, Pulu street has jurisdiction over 5 communities and 10 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at 57 Shuangshi Road, Hulu community.

History of construction
In 1775, a gourd farm was set up near Bulu street.
In 1919, Bulu township was built.
In April 1953, Pulu township was divided into Pulu, Jielong, Shilong and Shiqiao, belonging to Pulu district.
In December 1955, Jielong township was merged into Pulu Township and Shiqiao Township into Shilong township.
In September 1958, Pulu Township and Shilong Township were transformed into communes respectively.
In January 1983, Pulu commune and Shilong commune were changed into Pulu Township and Shilong township.
In December 1989, Pulu Township and Shilong Township were merged to build Pulu Town, which still belongs to Pulu district.
In October 2006, Lanfeng township was merged into Pulu town.
In 2014, it was changed from Bulu town to Bulu street.
