Xihongmen area
Daxing District governs towns (districts). Located in the north of the District, 5 km away from Beijing West Railway Station. It covers an area of 31.2 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 135761 (2017). It has jurisdiction over 10 communities and 26 administrative villages. The Office (town government) is located in Xihongmen. Jingkai Expressway and the Fifth Ring Road cross the border. The historic Mosque of Ming and Qing Dynasties is located in the central street of Xihongmen.

On November 3, 2005, Xihongmen regional office was officially established. at the end of 2006, it covers an area of 28.44 square kilometers and has a population of 25300. It has jurisdiction over 5 communities and 27 administrative villages (according to the Beijing administrative division manual). In 2009, the area was 31.2 square kilometers, registered residence 26316 people, including 16515 agricultural population, 9801 non-agricultural population, 10 thousand and 400 floating population, 9 community, 1 neighborhood committee preparatory group, 27 administrative villages, 13 natural villages and 35 residential areas. as of 2010, there were 141355 permanent residents.
