Guoliang town
Guoliang Town, subordinate to Dazu District of Chongqing, is located in the northeast of Dazu District, adjacent to Yongxi town in the East, Wangu town in the south, Huilong town in the west, Tongliang District in the north, 25 kilometers away from the residence of Dazu District People's government, with a total area of 38.9 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, Guoliang town belonged to qushuili; in 1993, Guoliang Township and Qushui Township merged into Guoliang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 23628. As of June 2020, Guoliang town has one community, seven administrative villages and one group of street village under the people's Government of Guoliang town.
In Guoliang Town, rice is the main food crop; pig is the main animal husbandry; building materials are the main industry. In 2018, Guoliang town has 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to qushuili. In 1909, yunluchang was set up in Qushui.
In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), it belonged to the third district, and set up Yunlu township. In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), it belonged to the third joint protection area; in the same year, it was renamed Guoliang joint protection because of Rao Guoliang, the 72 martyr of Huanghuagang. In 1942, it belonged to the second district.
December 1949, belongs to the Sixth District (District Office in Wangu town).
In September 1958, it was changed into Guoliang commune.
In September 1984, Guoliang commune was changed into Guoliang township.
In 1993, Guoliang Township and Qushui Township were merged into Guoliang town.

By the end of 2011, Guoliang town had one community under its jurisdiction, seven administrative villages including Shuangshan, fangbei, Bianqiao, Sanfeng, Yangguang, Qushui and Quanli, and two resident groups and 52 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Guoliang town has one community and seven administrative villages: Jiecun community, Shuangshan village, fangbei village, Bianqiao village, Sanfeng village, Yangguang village, Qushui village and Quanli village, and the town people's government is stationed in group 1 of Jiecun village.
