Changhao Township, subordinate to Wuzhishan City, Hainan Province, is located in the southwest of Wuzhishan City, adjacent to Chongshan town in the East, Baoting County in the south, Ledong County in the West and maodao Township in the north. The Township People's government is 8 kilometers away from Wuzhishan City. The total administrative area is 153.34 square kilometers.

In 1947, Changhao district was under the jurisdiction of Sili and Tongshi township. In July 2002, Baoguo township was incorporated into the city. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Chang Hao township was 5528. As of June 2020, Changhao township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Changhao village.

Historical evolution

Because Changhao township is located in the hinterland of mountainous area, there was no specific administrative region before the Republic of China.

In 1947, Changhao district was under the jurisdiction of Sili and Tongshi township.

In April 1950, Changhao township was established under the third district of Baoting county.
