Changdong township is located in the hinterland of Dayaoshan, 28 kilometers southwest of Jinxiu county. Jinluo highway runs through the township government. The township borders Jinxiu town in the north, luoxiang Township in the East, Liuxiang Township in the South and dale Township in Xiangzhou County in the West.
