In 1933, Anding District, di Su and San long townships were established, belonging to Du'an County. In 1958, it belonged to Hongxing commune of Du'an Yao Autonomous County. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in di Su town was 76670. As of June 2020, 1 community and 17 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Di Su town. The people's government is located in Xinsu street.
