Baiyu town

Baiyu town is located in the hinterland of Youjiang River Valley, which is the east gate of Tianyang County. Yongse second-class highway (324 National Highway), Youjiang River and Nanning Kunming Railway run through the whole town. There is a military and civil airport in the town. It is 180 km away from Nanning, the capital, in the East, and 40 km away from Baise City in the West. It has superior geographical location, convenient land and water transportation, and obvious location advantage. The town has a total area of 132 square kilometers, with Valley alluvial plain and hills as the main landform. The cultivated land area is 44951 mu, including 31383 mu of paddy field and 13568 mu of dry land.

The town governs 6 administrative villages of Jiuhe, Sina, Baiyu, Liulian, Qilian and Xinmin, 62 natural villages and 170 villager groups, with a total population of 26800 (urban population of 2000). The residents are mainly Zhuang people who speak the northern Zhuang language.

Nazangtun, Sina village, Baiyu Town, Tianyang County, is 0.5km away from Guangxi Baise national agricultural science and Technology Park and Guangxi Baise national modern agricultural research and extension center.
