Lishi town
Lishi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Heping County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, is located at the southernmost end of Heping County. It is one of the old revolutionary base areas and belongs to the mountainous agricultural town. With a total area of 70.15 square kilometers, the town has eight village committees and one neighborhood committee. At the end of 2017, there were 4589 households with a population of about 22000.
In 2017, the total agricultural output value of Lishi town was 61.58 million yuan.
Historical evolution
In Ming and Qing Dynasties, Li Shi was called Li Shuxia, which means Li Xian corporal.
At the beginning of the Republic of China, it changed its name to Li Shi.
In May 1949, Lishi Township People's government was established.
In 1993, Lishi town was established.

Lishi town is located in the southernmost part of Heping County, adjacent to linzhai town and Dongshui town in the East, Chuantang town in Dongyuan County in the southwest, and Gongbai town in the northwest. It is a mountainous agricultural town. The total area of the town is 70.15 square kilometers.

Lishi Town, with an average altitude of 176 meters, belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate zone. The climate is mild, the light is sufficient, the four seasons are distinct, and the frost free period is long. The annual average temperature is 17.9 ℃ - 20.2 ℃. In most years, the sunshine is more than 1704.7 hours, the annual average relative humidity is 80%, and the frost free period is 267-301 days.

Natural resources mainly include land, forest and mineral resources; paddy field covers an area of 6379 Mu and dry land covers an area of 2872 mu; woodland covers an area of 115000 mu with more than 900 plant species and forest coverage rate of 74.12%; mineral resources include mineral water, porcelain clay and rare earth.

There are 28 enterprises in the town, including 13 collectives. In agriculture, it mainly produces high-quality grain, persimmon green, miscellaneous fruit, pine, fir, "three birds" and so on. Lishi town is the main distribution center of industrial and agricultural products in the southern towns of Heping County and Chuantang and Sanhe of Dongyuan County. It has two professional markets with a total area of 10000 square meters. In 1993, the market trade turnover was 24.3 million yuan, and the retail sales of consumer goods was 18 million yuan.

Transportation
Lishi town is one of the nanchukou towns in Heping County. The highway connects National Highway 205 through Chuantang town and Zhangxi town of Dongyuan County in the west, Beijing Kowloon Railway through linzhai town in the East, 11 km away from linzhai railway station and Gongbai town in the north. There is a provincial highway 229 Luomi line, only 8 kilometers away from the "Kunming Shantou expressway" Chuantang interchange exit.

Persimmon green, flat round fruit body, orange yellow color, sweet taste, with heat, nourishing yin and fire function, can be water, dry, pot system.
