Tiaofeng town

Tiaofeng town is located in the southeast of Leizhou City, Guangdong Province. The total area is 221.48 square kilometers, including 210000 mu of cultivated land and 68551 people. 36000 mu of beach can be developed offshore. The town has 18 village committees, 2 neighborhood committees and 127 natural villages. The town government is stationed in diaofengwei, 39 kilometers away from Leicheng. Rich in bananas, rice, sugar cane, seafood and so on.

Tiaofeng town has a superior geographical location, known as South China Wetland world. It has always been a prosperous market in the southeast of Leizhou Peninsula and the east gate of Leizhou City. In recent years, sugar industry and forestry have developed rapidly and become two major advantages. Sugarcane covers an area of 85000 mu, with an output of more than 330000 tons, nearly 7 tons per capita. It is one of the towns with the largest sugarcane production in the city.

Original name

Tiaofeng town is under the jurisdiction of Haikang County, Leizhou Prefecture. It's in the southeast of the county. Tiaofeng is a place name in ancient Yue language, which means "Dapo". In ancient times, tiaofeng polder was formed in the flat and open South City of shililing. It means good weather and the town is famous for its polder. Tiaofeng township was established in 1957, tiaofeng commune was established in 1974, district was changed in 1984, and town was established in 1987.

economic development

Tiaofeng town has a subtropical marine monsoon climate with long summer and short winter, mild climate, abundant sunshine and rainfall. Through the implementation of the working idea of "grasping stability, constructing harmony, seeking development and building a strong town", vigorously adjust the industrial structure.

Closely around the goal of "the hometown of wind power energy, the hometown of characteristic agriculture, and the hometown of ecological civilization", the output value of the three industries has increased steadily. In 2016, the town's GDP reached 2.138 billion yuan, an increase of 7.5%. Among them, the total output value of the primary industry was 1.515 billion yuan, an increase of 6%; the total output value of the secondary industry was 302 million yuan, an increase of 6.8%; the total output value of the tertiary industry was 321 million yuan, an increase of 8.5%; the fixed asset investment of the town was 334 million yuan, an increase of 31.5%. The total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 320 million yuan, an increase of 8.5%.

Banana, sugarcane, pineapple and prawn are the four pillar industries of the town, including 76000 mu of sugarcane with an annual output of 400000 tons; 36000 mu of banana with an annual output of 140000 tons; 25000 mu of pineapple with an annual output of 80000 tons; 14000 mu of prawn with an annual output of 12000 tons. The agriculture in the area has initially formed a pattern of prawn cultivation in the East, banana cultivation in the middle, pineapple cultivation in the north and sugarcane cultivation in the south. The circulation of agricultural products is active. Every day, more than 30 large trucks and more than 300 small trucks buy bananas in the villages of the town. They sell well all over the country, with daily sales of 600000 Jin. The two wind power projects of Yuedian hongxinlou and AVIC Shenxin have been put into operation. The project plans to build 33 wind turbines. At present, the land acquisition of 13 wind turbines has been completed, and the construction of 3 base stations has started. In addition, AVIC Shenxin plans two wind power projects, Longmen and Leigao. Among them, 29 wind turbines will be located in our town. Three wind power projects plan to build 109 wind turbines, with a total investment of 1.9 billion yuan. After the project is completed, the annual tax will exceed 30 million yuan. Wind turbines and color agriculture will become a beautiful scenery in our town. Green industry has gradually raised the beam of enriching the people and strengthening the town.

Tiaofeng town is located in the southeast of Leizhou City. It is close to the South China Sea and adjacent to he'an Town, qujie town and Xiaqiao town of Xuwen County in the south. It borders Dongli town in the East, Leigao town in the north, Yingli town and Longmen town in the west, 38 km away from Leicheng, with a total area of 221.48 square kilometers (2017), including 210000 mu of cultivated land and 42 km of coastline.

ecotourism

Tiaofeng town is rich in tourism resources. It has national coastal mangrove reserve, Jiulongshan natural scenic spot, Nantian village, Chen Changqi's hometown, luche village, a well protected ancient folk house, and Juren tiaoming village, a famous historical and cultural village. It is a unique resource for the development of tourism in the town. Tiaofeng has green mountains and green waters, and there are three highest famous mountains in Leizhou. Jiulongshan National Wetland Park (Leiqiong World Geopark) has attractive scenery and rich resources; shililing is green and full of famous trees; yuanyangquan natural bath is a fairyland. These characteristic natural landscapes are precious gold and silver mountains bestowed by God. The development of Jiulongshan tourism resources is a key research project recommended by our city to OCT Guangming group. OCT Guangming group has made many field investigations and found that the development of Jiulongshan project has a bright future. Making full use of the unique ecological resources of our town to build Jiulongshan, yuanyangquan and other tourist attractions is the focus of our next work.

Baolin temple in Jiulong Mountain

Baolin temple in Jiulongshan was founded by master Shi Shanlin of Yuhuatai temple in Leizhou City in the spring of 1978. It is located in chaoluogang, Jiulongshan, Diaofeng Town, Leizhou City, with harvest farm in the South and diaofengwei in the northwest. It is about 40 kilometers away from LeiCheng City, covering an area of more than 200 mu. Nine dragon veins gather around, just like playing in the water in Kowloon, so it is called Jiulong Mountain. Tiaofeng town has a profound historical and cultural heritage, including Wang Mengling, the governor of water transport and Jiangnan River in the Qing Dynasty, Wang Dingjiu, the Jieyuan official of Qianlong Wuke in the Qing Dynasty, Chen Changqi, the editor of QingHan forestry school, the first person of Puxue in Guangdong Han school, Ding zongluo, the incorruptible official of Jining County in Shandong Province, and other historical celebrities. The village level change is carried out legally and orderly according to the rules, and the wind is clean and upright. As of April 23, 2017, 20 villages (communities) in Leizhou took the lead in completing the election of "two committees". 139 village cadres were fully elected at one time. 100% of the village "two committees" held cross posts, and 100% of the female cadres were equipped. New cadres in each Village (neighborhood) were strictly required to be younger (under 35 years old) and equipped with information technology (computer literacy).
