Yantian Street

Yantian street, belonging to Yantian District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, is located in the middle of Yantian District, adjacent to Meisha street in the East, Haishan street in the west, Henggang street in Longgang District in the north, Dapeng Bay in the South and Hong Kong new territories across the sea. It is located in the land behind Yantian port, with a total area of 45.11 square kilometers. By 2019, Yantian street has four communities under its jurisdiction. As of September 2020, the total population of Yantian street was 102 thousand and 900, of which 19 thousand and 700 were registered residence and 83 thousand and 200 were non registered residence.

Yantian street has Yantian port, one of the four international deep-water transshipment ports developed by the state, which is the single port with the highest density and throughput of China's ocean going container liner at present. There are beautiful natural landscape of Sanzhoutian and cultural landscape of former site of Sun Yat Sen gengzi uprising in Sanzhoutian.

As of September 2020, Yantian street has 2392 enterprises, 1515 "three small places", 10 Beishan industrial zone and export goods supervision warehouses.

Historical evolution

In June 1983, Yantian street was built under the jurisdiction of Shatoujiao administrative area.

On January 20, 1990, Shatoujiao management area was merged into Luohu District, and Yantian street was subordinate to Luohu District.

In November 1997, Yantian District was established, and Yantian street was under the jurisdiction of Yantian District.

Transportation

Yantian street is crisscrossed by various roads. S30 Yanba Expressway and S360 Shenyan road / Yanmei Road pass through the East and West, connecting Shatoujiao street and Meisha street. In the north, there are G25 Huiyan Expressway and S202 Huiyan Road, which are connected with Longgang District and Huizhou City. There is Metro Line 8 (Yantian line) passing through.

Yantian port is located in the south of Yantian street, Yantian District, Shenzhen City, on the North Bank of Dapeng Bay. It reaches Shenzhen City by 24 km railway in the northwest and Huizhou by 72 km in the East. Yantian port is a modern container port, adjacent to the international financial, trade and shipping center Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, backed by China's larger export processing base Pearl River Delta, with wide water depth. It is one of the international transshipment deep-water ports developed by China in Liaoning, Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong provinces, and an important container transport port in South China. Yantian folk song

Yantian folk songs refer to Hakka folk songs, Jiulong folk songs, fishing songs, weeping wedding songs and so on, which are widely spread in Yantian area. They have a history of more than 300 years and have unique characteristics. They are not only different in tune, but also sung in Hakka dialect, Cantonese dialect and Fulao dialect.

San Zhou Tian

Sanzhoutian is located between Yantian District and Pingshan District of Shenzhen city. Shenzhen is famous for its Sanzhoutian reservoir, tea garden, waterfalls and beautiful scenery.
