Hongtuliang Town, belonging to Shangyi County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of the south of Shangyi County, with taolizhuang Township in the East, Xiaosuangou town in the south, Xinghe County of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the west, Manjing town and Badaogou town in the north. It is 20km away from the people's Government of Shangyi County, with a total area of 293.24km2.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it was Hongtuliang village, belonging to Zhangbei County; in September 1989, it was changed from Tulu township to Hongtuliang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of red earth town was 11620. As of June 2020, Hongtuliang town has one community and 16 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Hongtuliang town is located in dayangpo village.
In 2018, there were four industrial enterprises in Hongtuliang Town, including one above scale and two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1914, it was Hongtuliang village, belonging to Zhangbei County.
In October 1949, it belonged to dayangpo Township, tumulu District, Shangyi County.
In August 1956, Hongtuliang township was established.
In August 1958, Hongtuliang township was changed into Tulu commune.
In 1984, Tu Lu commune was changed into Tu Lu township.
In September 1989, tumulu township was changed into Hongtuliang town.
In January 1996, yongshengdi township was merged into Hongtuliang town.
