Fengyuandian Township, belonging to Guyuan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Guyuan County, bordering Chicheng County in the East, South and southwest, Xiaochang town in the northwest and Changliang Township in the north. It is 36 kilometers away from Guyuan County People's government, with a total area of 282.88 square kilometers.
In 1948, fengyuandian Township belonged to the Ninth District of Baoyuan County; in 1984, it was changed from fengyuandian commune to fengyuandian township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Fengyuan Dian was 10664. As of June 2020, fengyuandian village has 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is located in the east of Dongxi Road, fengyuandian village.

History of construction
In 1948, fengyuandian township was located in the Ninth District of Baoyuan county.
In 1950, it was divided into the third district of Guyuan County.
In 1958, it belonged to the red flag commune.
In 1965, fengyuandian commune was established from Hongqi commune.
In 1984, it was changed from fengyuandian commune to fengyuandian township.
