Oujiangcha town

Oujiangcha town is located in the southeast corner of Yiyang City, adjacent to Wangcheng County in the East, Ningxiang County in the South and Xiangyin County in the West. With a total area of 126.48 square kilometers (2017), it is known as the "land of fish and rice". Paihong river flows from oujiangcha town from south to North and then to the East into Xiangjiang River, forming a natural and obvious administrative boundary with Qiaokou town in Wangcheng District of Changsha City and zhuliangqiao town in Ningxiang County of Changsha City.

The landform of the town is lake and hill. With fertile soil, mild climate, abundant rainfall and long sunshine, the town is known as the "land of fish and rice". On November 26, 2015, the office of Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs issued the reply of Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs on Approving the adjustment plan of township division in Heshan District of Yiyang City (xmxf [2015] No. 91), and agreed to establish the organizational system of paikou Township and oujiangcha town and merge them into oujiangcha town. Industry summary

The agriculture of our town is mainly high-quality fish and commodity grain. Agricultural production has gradually changed from the traditional single structure mode to the high-quality and efficient mode. It has formed many kinds of breeding bases, such as ten thousand mu of high-quality rice, one thousand mu of intensive fish pond, one hundred mu of seedlings and flowers, pearl breeding, pollution-free paddy vegetables and so on. Baijiu lake, quality freshwater fish in East Lake fishing ground is rated "natural green quality fish" by the provincial quality inspection department. Agricultural products such as granular rice, liquor, preserved egg, high-quality orange and lean pork are exported to and outside the province. Meggitt group has set up a branch in our town, which has become the leading enterprise in our town. The casting products produced by Shanghu machinery factory are exported to Europe and America, earning 3 million US dollars annually.

Location traffic

The transportation of the whole town is convenient, extending in all directions. Water and land transport links the surrounding three counties, and the youcaotang bridge across the Xinhe river connects the north and the south. High standard Yipai highway runs through the north and south, and Laiyi Lake passes through Hongxin river. More than 20 passenger lines have been opened, connecting Changsha, Yiyang and Yueyang.

Our town has invested tens of millions of yuan to strengthen the construction of small towns. Five new streets will be fully hardened, and a commercial pedestrian street has been built. The construction area of houses in the town is 2 million square meters, and the average living area of residents is 24 square meters.
