Since the withdrawal of chenjiafang town from the district and merging into the township, chenjiafang town has continuously deepened the reform, made great efforts in governance, blazed new trails, made full use of its own resources and advantages, devoted itself to the development of town economy, and the national economy and social undertakings have been developing day by day. The rapid development of private economy
Chenjiafang town has always been an important economic town in Xinshao County, and the masses have a strong sense of commodity. Since the reform and opening up, chenjiafang people have been actively working and doing business, accumulating a certain amount of original capital and market experience. After the establishment of the town in 1995, with the strong support and scientific guidance of the previous Party committees and governments, the town has made use of local private capital to develop private industries such as clothing, shoemaking, transportation, firecrackers, building materials and daily necessities processing, and a number of backbone private enterprises with an annual output value of more than 10 million yuan. Among them, there are 86 garment manufacturers with fixed assets of 50 million yuan, more than 5000 employees and annual output value of 100 million yuan. Urban construction has begun to take shape
The urban construction of chenjiafang town started in 1995 and was listed as the pilot town of rural comprehensive reform in 1998. After that, the urban construction has achieved rapid development. In a short period of four years, the fixed asset investment of 400 million yuan has been completed, forming a new pattern of small town development with relatively complete functions such as commerce, industry, life, catering services and relatively perfect infrastructure. The urban area of the town has expanded from 0.5 square kilometers in 1998 to 2 square kilometers, and the urban population has increased from 2000 in 1998 to 20000, becoming a business and logistics center with a population of about 150000 in neighboring towns. Traffic facilities have been further improved. A 6-kilometer-long and 28 meter wide cement road around the city has been built.
