Yanduhe town of Badong County is located in the north of the Yangtze River, in the middle and upper reaches of shennongxi international tourism scenic spot. It is 60 kilometers away from Badong County in the East and 65 kilometers away from Wushan County in Chongqing in the West.

In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Yanduhe town as a national health Township in the period of 2017-2019.

It governs 16 administrative villages including Jiehe, Zhangshu, Hanshi, daishuping, changjiaping, baiyantou, Hongsha, ChenWan, Maoping, Zhongzhai, Dahua, kongbao, Jindou, Gaoyan, yemadong and Maotian. Duizichang Township covers an area of 252.1 square kilometers and has a population of 14000. It governs Xiaoxi, dongyukou, Chayuan, tarougou and Yuer Luoxiba Township covers an area of 126.5 square kilometers and has a population of 23000.
