Xizhong Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dingzhou City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Dingzhou City, adjacent to Xingyi town in the East, Wuji County in Shijiazhuang City in the south, Xinle in Shijiazhuang City in the west, and Gaopeng town in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 8 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 4 km, with a total area of 55.44 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Huzhong town registered residence was 44095.
Xizhong town is named after the town government's residence in Xizhong village. In 1961, jianxizhong commune was established. In 1982, it was changed to Xizhong township. In 2009, Xizhong township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Xizhong town has 13 village committees and the people's Government of Xizhong village.
In 2017, Xizhong town achieved an output value of 561 million yuan of Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size, completed 29.57 million yuan of urban fixed assets investment and 5.06 million yuan of taxes. In 2018, there were 29 industrial enterprises in Xizhong Town, including 10 large-scale enterprises and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
