Geography

Sushi town is located in the northeast of Songzi City, on the South Bank of the Yangtze River. It gets its name because the river turns to the north and flows to the East. Sushi town is located at the edge of six towns in Jingzhou, Songzi and Zhijiang counties. It borders Mishi town and Shadaoguan town of Jingzhou District, and faces Babao town and old town of Songzi City, Bailizhou town and Qixingtai town of Zhijiang City across the river. It is 35km away from Xinjiangkou city. It covers an area of 134.67 square kilometers and is a plain Lake area. Wushi town governs 17 administrative villages, 292 villager groups and 1 community neighborhood committee. The total population of Su town is 47432 (2017).
