Banbishan farm is located in Yangxin County, Huangshi City, Hubei Province, on the South Bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The total land area is 26500 mu, including 11000 mu of arable land, 2000 mu of woodland, 6200 mu of aquaculture water surface and 1000 mu of orchard. The total population was 3669 (2010).

The annual output of high-quality rice is 10 million jin, oil is 800000 Jin, lint is 10000 Dan, fresh fish is 4 million jin, fruit is 100000 Jin, crab is 200000 Jin. The annual total social output value is 158 million yuan. The farm has initially formed an economic pattern of all-round development of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, one-stop cultivation, breeding, processing and marketing, and integration of agriculture, industry and trade.

Banbishan farm was founded in 1960. In response to the call of the Communist Party of China, the older generation of farmers built embankments and fields, and reclaimed wasteland. Around the requirements of regional layout, specialized production, enterprise management and marketing, we have built production bases of grain, cotton, oil, aquatic products, fruits and vegetables with a certain scale. Huang (SHI) 19 (Jiang) and Yang (Xin) - Fu (chi) highways pass through the yard, 21 km away from Yangxin County and 180 km away from Wuhan City in the west, facing Wuxue City across the river in the East, 22 km away from Wuxue City railway station of Beijing Kowloon Railway and 21 km away from Shanghai Chengdu expressway. Water transportation is more advantaged. From Chongqing to Shanghai, 1000 ton ships can berth in the site.

History and culture

The precipice is more than 100 meters high. The river is suddenly narrowed here. It is the narrowest place under the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. It is like a throat. It is a place for ancient strategists and a famous ancient battlefield. The ancient fort in the period of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, the "thousand families" and the three stone carvings inscribed on the cliff in the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty are still clearly visible. In 1984, a tomb of the late Warring States period 2300 years ago was excavated in xiaopaoershan. 92 cultural relics were unearthed from the tomb. They are now displayed in the museums of Hubei Province and Yangxin County respectively. This is the first discovery in Southeast Hubei Province. From the top of Banbi mountain, you can see the lush forest, the green bamboo, the fragrance of tea and fruit, which makes you linger all year round.
