Evolution of villages and towns

Liangwa town is located 15 kilometers northeast of Lushan County. It was called taohuadian, YingYuan town and Xi'an town in ancient times. Liangwa Central Township was built in 1956, the commune was changed in 1969, the township was changed in 1983, and the town was built in 1986. In ancient times, it was called taohuadian, YingYuan town and Zion town. In 1997, it covers an area of 63.5 square kilometers and has a population of 32000. It governs 17 administrative villages including Liangwa West Street, Liangwa East Street, Liangwa South Street, Liangwa North Street, zhangxianggongzhuang, Quanshang, duandian, beilangdian, nanlangdian, neem tree shop, langfen, Xufang, Baobao, wager Wu, baliping, liangou and banpoyang. According to the records of Lushan county annals written by Jiajing of Ming Dynasty, Qianlong, the prince of Jin Dynasty, experienced the difficulty of avoiding Huangdun, which is called taohuashusheng, namely taohuadian. The settlement site is 500 meters southwest of the town. During the period of the Republic of China, there was also a gate tower and a damaged blue stone archway. During the period from Xianfeng to Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty, there were frequent wars. In just 45 days, the villagers nearby joined hands to build a 2.5-kilometer-long, ten meter high wall with five gates, namely "WangSong", "Zhanlu", "Linying", "Yingxu" and "Zhenhua". There is a two Zhang wide moat outside the wall, and the water depth is seven or eight feet. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, there were 16 ceramic companies and 7 grain companies in the town. By the end of the people's Republic of China, there were as many as 93 merchants, which were set in two days. In the 1950s, there were also Laojun temple, guanye temple, Shanshan temple and suntang temple in the South and north of the town. There are four temples in the temple, including the main hall, roll shed (worship Hall), theater, East and West Corridor room. Most of these temples were destroyed during the "great leap forward" period. Only a few ancient buildings of guanye temple still exist in Liangwa middle school. as early as 140 BC, coal mining began here. In the first year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1796), coal mining in this area has become a large scale. According to the records of Lushan County, at that time, some local scoundrels lured the poor to sell and forced them to go down the kiln as "dead pokers". Dong Zuodong, the county magistrate, personally went to the coal mine and released 300 prisoners. By 1870, the number of small coal mines in pankeng, langfen and duandian had reached 48 Although I dare not presume that the ancient town is thriving because of coal, the pottery, iron smelting and porcelain firing techniques here are ancient. There are iron smelting sites of Tang Dynasty in Dongpo and Song Dynasty in Langdian. The famous duandian porcelain kiln site of Tang Dynasty at home and abroad unearthed Tang Jun, Song Jun, Yuan Jun, Tang Sancai, Lushan flower porcelain, song RuGuan porcelain, Sancai pearl, etc. In 1999, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit in Henan Province. Nowadays, Liangwa town is still an important economic town in Lushan County because of its rich mineral resources and prosperous industries. the south slope of Zhaoling village at the junction of beimenwai of Liangwa town and Shilong District is the source of guying river. In those days, xizhaimen was called linyingmen, and Liangwa town was also named YingYuan town. In the early 1990s, the spring water at the source of Yinghe river was still very strong. A stream of clear water meandered to wailiangzhuang natural village in Zhangbaqiao Town, Baofeng county. The water was three or four meters wide and could only be crossed by stones. Now the water in the ditch is weak, and the small reservoir with a surface area of 50 mu in wailiang village is dead in name. The ancient source of Yinghe river has been cut off.
