Jiezhuang Township, belonging to Jingxiu District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Jingxiu District, bordering Lianchi District in the East, Fuchang Township in the south, Nanqi Township and Jiangcheng Township in the West. It is adjacent to Hancun Township in the north. Township government in Jiezhuang village Kangzhuang road 31. Jiezhuang township is named after Jiezhuang village, where the township government is located. In January 1984, Niantou township of Jianshui was built. In June 1985, it was renamed Jiezhuang township. As of October 2019, Jiezhuang township has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages including Jiezhuang village, and the township government is stationed at 31 Kangzhuang Road, Jiezhuang village.

Historical evolution

In 1952, it belonged to six townships: Xue Liuying, cuizha, shuiniantou, Xiaoche, manziying and Jiangcheng.

In March 1960, shuiniantou people's commune was merged and established.

In January 1984, it was rebuilt into shuiniantou township.

In June 1985, it was renamed Jiezhuang township.
