Ceshan Street

Located in the southeast of Luozhuang District, Linyi City, ceshan street is named after Qingyun Mountain and Erlong mountain in the shape of "CE". It is 8 kilometers away from the office of the district. It faces Tancheng across Yihe River and Wuhe River in the East, Gaodu street in the north, Fuzhuang street in the West and Huangshan Town in the south. It covers a total area of 56 square kilometers, with a cultivated area of 32000 mu. It governs 31 natural villages and 15 rural communities, With a population of 65000, it is the first batch of central towns named by Shandong provincial government.

In 1958, it was changed from ceshan District of Linyi County to ceshan township. In August of the same year, Liaoyuan commune was established. In 1959, it was changed to ceshan commune. In 1984, it was changed from ceshan commune to ceshan township. In 1993, it was abolished and ceshan town was established. In 2002, it was changed from ceshan town to ceshan sub district office.

Historical evolution

The eighth district was set up in 1951, changed to ceshan District in 1955, changed to township in 1958, changed to commune in 1959, and changed to township in 1984. On September 8, 1993, ceshan township was abolished and ceshan town was established. In 1994, it belonged to Luozhuang district.

On February 1, 2002, the provincial government approved the cancellation of ceshan Town, and set up ceshan street as the administrative area of the original ceshan Town, with the office located in the original ceshan town government.
