Changtun Township
Changtun Township, subordinate to Weixian County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Weixian county. It is adjacent to Changzhuang town in the East, Guxian Township and Liyuantun town in the south, Hezhao town in the West and Houguan town in the north. It is 21.6 kilometers away from Weixian County People's government, with a total area of 75.86 square kilometers.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Changtun township was divided into Nangong county and Qiu county of Shandong Province; in January 1984, it was changed from Changtun commune to Changtun township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Chang Tun was 38812. As of June 2020, Changtun township has 31 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is located at No. 1, Fuqiang Road, Changtun village.
In 2018, there were 93 industrial enterprises in Changtun Township, including 6 above scale enterprises and 65 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to Nangong county and Qiu county of Shandong Province.
In 1940, it belonged to Qingjiang county. In 1945, it was transferred to Weixian county.
In 1949, it belonged to the Tenth District.
In 1953, Changtun township was built, belonging to four districts.
In August 1958, it belonged to Hongxing commune, the administrative area of Changtun township; in November of the same year, it belonged to Houguan commune.
In May 1961, jianchangtun commune was established.
In January 1984, it was changed from Changtun commune to Changtun township.
In January 1996, Liutuan township was merged into Changtun township.
