Zhongce town

Zhongce Town, subordinate to Sishui County, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwest of Sishui County, adjacent to Gaoyu town in the East, zhegou town in the West and Ningyang County in the north, with an administrative area of 67.84 square kilometers.

In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was believed to be Anxiang; in 1995, the town was set aside in the middle of the township; as at the end of 2018, the town had 37562 registered residence population; as of June 2020, 37 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of the Town, and three villages in the town hall.

History of construction

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was called Xin'an township.

From 1938 to 1945, it was the fourth district.

Zhegou district was established in 1945.

The main rivers in Zhongce town are Zhongce River, guxiangou River, Shiqiao River, kuangjia River and Dingzhuang river. Zhongce river is the primary mainstream on the North Bank of Sihe river. It originates from beilaozhai mountain, collects the water in front of Kebu mountain and Zhai mountain, flows southward through Xujiazhuang, Zhongce and Houhou, flows southward, and flows into Sihe River between dongyangzhuang and xiyangzhuang, with a total length of 11 km and a drainage area of 30 square kilometers. Therefore, Xiangou originates from the east of houjiazhuang, Zhongce Town, with a length of 8 km and a drainage area of 9.5 square kilometers.
