Wang Sheren Street
Wangsheren Town, Licheng District, Jinan City, < I > before Sui Dynasty, it was called a grocery store, < I > during the reign of Tang Zhenguan (629-652), Wang Xi (who had worked as Zhongshu Sheren) returned home and opened a shop here. After his death, in memory of him, the village was changed into wangshiren village. Wangsheren town got its name because it was located here.
Evolution of organizational system
In October 1949, the Chengguan District of Licheng county was established with the office address at wangshirenzhuang;
In December 1956, it was renamed Wangsheren township of Licheng county;
In September 1958, it was renamed the people's commune in the eastern suburb of Licheng county;
In April 1980, it was renamed the people's commune in the eastern suburb of Jinan;
On April 11, 1987, the suburb and Licheng County of Jinan City were abolished and Licheng District of Jinan City was established. The former administrative region of Licheng county and the former suburban towns of Hongjialou, Huashan and Wangsheren were the administrative regions of Licheng District. It governs 38 villages.
In May 2010, Wangsheren town was abolished and Wangsheren street and Baoshan Street were established. Wangsheren street has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages, including Wangsheren village in the former Wangsheren Town, and the office is located in the former Wangsheren town government. Baoshan Street has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages, including Zhaojiazhuang in Wangsheren Town, 2 administrative villages, including lujiawa and peijiazhuang in Dongjia Town, and 6 administrative villages, including Xujiazhuang in Guodian Town, with a total of 24 administrative villages.
