Heguo Township
Heguo Township, belonging to Nanhe District, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Nanhe district. It is adjacent to Heyang town in the East, Liucun Township in Shahe City in the south, GaoKai District in Xingtai City in the West and Jiasong town in the north. It is 4km away from the people's Government of Nanhe District, with a total area of 44.61km2.
During the Shang and Zhou dynasties, Heguo township was the only way for the capital of Xingguo to reach shansha palace and Linzi, the capital of Qi. In 1984, Heguo commune was changed into Heguo township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Heguo township was 37206. As of June 2020, Heguo township has jurisdiction over one community and 27 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in the west of Xinglin highway.
In 2018, there were 21 industrial enterprises in Heguo Township, including 21 large-scale enterprises and 53 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the Shang and Zhou dynasties, Heguo township was the only way for the capital of Xingguo to reach shansha palace and Linzi, the capital of Qi.
In 1958, it was the Heguo Management Office of Nanhe commune;
In 1961, Heguo commune was established from Nanhe commune.
In 1984, Heguo commune was changed into Heguo township.
In 1996, Sili township was merged into Heguo township.

History and culture
The origin of place names
Heguo Township got its name because the township government was stationed in Heguo village. Baiquan river passes through Heguo village. There are eight water diversion gates and eight water diversion channels under it. The village is inside and the river is outside. Taking the village as the city and the river as the country, the village is located at the head of the eight river diversion channels, so it is named hetouguo, later renamed Heguo.

Zhang Bin's tomb is located four kilometers to the west of Zhizhi in Nanhe district and one kilometer to the southeast of Zhangxiang village. The original cemetery is rectangular, 40 meters long from north to South and 30 meters wide from east to west, covering a total area of 1200 square meters.
Zhangxiang village in Nanhe was originally called Baifo village. Heguo township was born in this village because of Zhang Bin. Later, he became prime minister. After his death, he was buried in his hometown. In order to commemorate Zhang Bin, Baifo village was renamed Zhangxiang village.
