Saiqi town

Saiqi Town, belonging to Fu'an City, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the south of Fu'an City, adjacent to Xibing and Songluo townships in the East, Wanwu Township in the south, Gantang town across the river in the west, and Xitan and Xibing towns in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 14 kilometers. In 2018, Sai Qi town registered residence population of 52764.

Saiqi town is named after Sai village's "Sai" and Qitou mountain's "Qi". In 1958, it was renamed commune. In 1963, the district system was restored. In 1966, it was also called commune. In 1984, the commune was removed and Saiqi town and Saijiang Township were set up separately. In October 1985, Saijiang township was merged into Saiqi town. In June 2020, Saiqi town has a total of 7 communities and 23 administrative villages.
