Banshu town is a town under the jurisdiction of Jingde County, Anhui Province. It is adjacent to Jixi County in the East and south, Suncun town in the West and Jingyang town in the north. According to the official website of the local people's government, the township governs 6 villages and 85 villager groups.

In 2017, the administrative area of Banshu town was 8460 hectares, with a permanent resident population of 11232.

There are many scattered people in the town, and the per capita cultivated land is 1.3 mu. There are Huishui River, Qingtan River and Baisha River, 3 small-sized reservoirs, 10 wanfangdatang (992 other mountain ponds) and 2 hydropower stations in the area. The annual power generation is about 510000 kwh, and the water in the area is abundant.

Guided by Deng Xiaoping theory, the important thought of "Three Represents" and the spirit of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party committee and government of the town insist on taking economic construction as the center, taking accelerating the integration into the economic circle of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai as the opportunity, and taking promoting local economic development, rural social stability and increasing farmers' income as the goal. All economic and social undertakings have made great progress.

In 2005, the total financial revenue of the town was 3.703 million yuan, accounting for 137.15% of the annual task. There were more than 50 private industrial enterprises, including 6 Industrial Enterprises above the county scale. The per capita net income of farmers reached 3043 yuan.

The Party committee and government of the town take economic development as the first priority, and make great efforts in developing private enterprises and attracting investment, constantly improve and optimize the economic development environment, and cultivate a number of new economic growth points, namely, Qingzheng Luoshi, Longchuan quartz mining and processing, jiangkeng glass fiber Park and Chengnan industrial concentration zone.

As of March 2006, there were 9 mining and processing enterprises, 26 glass fiber enterprises, 4 wood processing enterprises, 1 foundry enterprise and 12 other enterprises in the town.

Jinshuiyuan blueberry plantation

Jinshuiyuan Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. was established in October 2010. There are 720 Mu oil tea, 220 Mu blueberry, 250 Mu white tea production base.

Martyrs cemetery in Jingde County

Jingde martyrs cemetery is located in Longchuan village, Banshu Township, facing north and south, with a total investment of about 5 million yuan and an area of about 20 mu. This is the birthplace of the Party branch of Sandu peasant Tutorial school, the first party organization in southern Anhui, and the hometown of Mei Daliang, a famous revolutionary martyr.

Former residence of Mei Dadong and Mei Daliang

Mei Dadong was born in Jingde County, Anhui Province in 1901. Graduated from East Asian University (now Fudan University). He was one of the leaders of Anhui early peasant movement. Yun Daiying's student. He joined the Socialist Youth League in 1922, and joined the Communist Party of China when he was teaching in Anyuan road and mine in Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province in 1924. He worked under the leadership of Liu Shaoqi. In 1925, he established a party branch in his hometown and served as the head of the branch. At the same time, he established a peasant self-defense army and a peasant association. Later, he was transferred to the Secretary of the Hubei delegation, the Secretary of the provincial Party committee and the Hongqi daily. In the winter of 1927, he returned to Jingde County to engage in revolutionary activities. He was arrested twice during the great revolution. In November 1928, he was arrested and sentenced to death. In December, he escaped to Shanghai to get in touch with the party organization. He was arrested again in 1931 and released three years later. After being released from prison, he lost contact with the party organization. In 1957, he died of shock in the anti rightist movement. He died in 1957.

Mei Daliang is from Jingde County, Anhui Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China. He joined the Chinese Socialist Youth League in 1921. In October 1925, my brother Mei Dadong, who helped to carry out revolutionary work in Anyuan, founded the "peasant Tutorial school" and taught in the school at the same time. In November, the first party branch of the Communist Party of China in southern Anhui, Jingde Meicun Tutorial school branch of the Communist Party of China, was established. As the first group of members of the branch, it joined the Communist Party of China. In the middle of November 1928, he was arrested because of the local gentry's betrayal. At dawn on December 10 of the same year, he died bravely outside the east gate of Jingde city. He was only 19 years old when he died.

Former site of Sandu peasant Tutorial school branch

This is the birthplace of the first party organization in southern Anhui. It is located in sandumei village, 6 kilometers west of Jingde County. It is located in Longchuan administrative village, the township of current edition book. The former site covers an area of about 200 square meters. The former site was built in the late Qing Dynasty, belonging to Mei's ancestral hall. It was destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution" and rebuilt into a Daliang primary school campus. Now it is listed as the patriotic education base of Jingde County.

South Anhui Revolutionary History Memorial Hall

Completed and opened in September 2015, the museum displays the history of Jingde revolution, related revolutionary relics, photos, etc.

Huanggaofeng, Jinggang, Southern Anhui

Wang Jiafeng, formerly known as wangjiafeng, is the second highest peak of the great assembly mountain, which is the branch of Ruoling in the east of Huangshan Mountain. It is 1143 meters above sea level. It is located at the junction of Jingde edition book Biyun and Jixi haozhaifeng village. On the top of the Yellow peak, there are many mountains and cliffs. The scenery is pleasant with birds singing and flowers fragrant all the year round. At the foot of the mountain, there are streams flowing all the year round. The weather at the top of the peak is fine and cloudless. You can overlook the Tiandu peak of the Yellow Mountain. Huanggaofeng is known as "the 72nd peak of Huangshan" for its magnificent scenery.

On the cliff 100 meters from the peak in the south of the mountain, the Huangshi cliff on the hillside looks like an open lion's mouth, commonly known as lion cave. The cave is about 45 meters deep and 56 meters wide, and can accommodate dozens of people. During the war between the Taiping Army and the Qing army in Jingde, the people at the foot of the mountain lived here to avoid the war. During the revolutionary war, it was the central area of the party organization and the guerrilla armed activities of the New Fourth Army in southern Anhui. It was one of the main sources of the guerrilla area in southern Anhui that successfully coordinated and cooperated with the "Cross River Campaign". It was known as "Jinggangshan in southern Anhui".

Yang Jialing

Yangjialing, located next to Banbi Road, Banshu village, Banshu Township, Jingde County, is one of the top ten photography spots in Jingde County.

Cloud Pavilion

It is about 1 km west of Yinlong village, Banshu township. It was built in 1537, the 16th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty, with a history of nearly 500 years. The pavilion is a voucher shaped stone pavilion, which spans the ancient Jingde Yinlong Road, with a clear span of 3.5 meters, an arch height of 3.45 meters and a depth of 5.4 meters. There are regular script Yangwen stone inscriptions of "Yinlong" on the forehead of the arch. On the top of the pavilion, there are four stone tablets with four stone strips on both sides. The top of the pavilion is composed of five arches, and four stone strips are inlaid between the arches. There are six horizontal bars on the left and right to support five arches, and the top is composed of 13 arches. The asymmetric construction method is adopted on both sides of the arches, which makes Zhuyun Pavilion well preserved.

Yinlong Lake

Yinlong lake, known as "Yuxiu Lake" in county annals, was built in the late Ming Dynasty. Yinlong lake is located at the top of Longshan mountain, with round shape and green water. Since ancient times, the scenery is beautiful, and the fish is rich and the lotus root is fat. It has been called by literati and refined scholars of all ages: "the mountain is in charge of the people, the water is in charge of the wealth, and the water is in charge of the wealth." Yinlong village is the lifeblood of mountains and waters, precious wealth, is a famous scenic spot in Jingde County, for the ancient literati resort, but also a human beauty painting.
