Jingshan Town
Jingshan Town, subordinate to Huaiyuan County, Anhui Province, was established in early 2016, with Chengguan town of Huaiyuan County as the main body and the southern part of Wohe River in JingQian township as the new administrative region. It is located on the South Bank of Wohe river at the foot of Jingshan mountain, adjacent to bengning Expressway in the north, bailianpo in the south, Heliu town in the West and Tushan in the East. There is a national scenic spot, bairuquan, where Huaihe River, Wohe River, cihuaixin River, huaihongxin River and Tianhe River meet.
The predecessor of Jingshan Town was Chengguan town of Huaiyuan County, with the south part of Wohe River as the main body and part of JingQian township as the new administrative region.
On September 11, 2019, Jingshan Town was selected as the "top 100 comprehensive competitiveness of towns in Central China in 2018".

The origin of the name
Because there is Jingshan in the territory, according to the historical records of places of interest, the name of the town is "Jingshan is the city" by Zhao Yun, Emperor LiZong of the Song Dynasty.
Historical evolution
In Xia and Shang Dynasties, the whole country was divided into Kyushu, and Jingshan belonged to Xuzhou. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Xuzhou was merged into Qingzhou, which belonged to Qingzhou and Yangzhou respectively. in the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, there were successive years of wars. It belonged to Wu and Chu. the Qin Dynasty unified China and implemented the system of prefectures and counties, with huaishui as the boundary, Huaibei as Sishui county and Huainan as Jiujiang county. In the Western Han Dynasty, huaishui was still the boundary, where there were four Marquis States and two counties. In the south of huaishui, there are Dangtu and Quyang, which belong to Jiujiang County; in the north of huaishui, there are pinga and Yicheng, and Longkang and Xiangxian, which belong to Pei county. In the new dynasty of Wang Mang, Dangtu was renamed Shanju, Quyang yanpingting, and pinga pingning. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, when the state of Dangtu was replaced by a county, Pei county was replaced by Pei county. The original county was not moved, but pinga county and Yicheng County were replaced by Jiujiang county. During the Three Kingdoms period, it belonged to Wei territory, Longkang County belonged to Ruyin County, and Yicheng County, pinga county and Quyang County belonged to Huainan county. Dangtu and Xiangxian were abolished. In the ninth year of Taikang (288 A.D.) in the Western Jin Dynasty, Longkang was transferred to Qiao state, and Dangtu was set up again. During the reign of emperor Xiaozong Longxing of the Southern Song Dynasty, the northern expedition to the Central Plains was carried out, and the Song Dynasty was defeated in Suzhou, which was known as Fuli fierce army in history. In the second year of Baoyou (1254), Huaiyuan army was set up. The song and Jin Dynasties fought a long-term separatist war in the Huaihe River Basin. The Southern Song Dynasty set up Jingshan County in Jingshan Town, Qi County, Suzhou, which belongs to the Huaiyuan Army (now Huaiyuan County). It straddled both sides of the Huaihe River, and the name "Huaiyuan" began from then on. In February 1276, Huaiyuan army surrendered to Yuan army. In the first month of the 28th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1291 AD), Huaiyuan army was abolished and merged with Jingshan County, which was renamed Huaiyuan County. It belongs to Haozhou and belongs to Anfeng road. This place has always been the governance center of Huaiyuan County. After the revolution of 1911, the Republic of China was founded. During the reign of the Northern Warlords (1914-1928), it was a county under the jurisdiction of the third office of administrative inspector of Shouxian County, Anhui Province. In 1938, Huaiyuan was a county under the jurisdiction of the third administrative inspector general's office of Fuyang, Anhui Province. In 1948, Huaiyuan was a county under the jurisdiction of the tenth administrative region of Shouxian County until the liberation of Huaiyuan County. During the Anti Japanese War, part of Huaiyuan County fell into enemy hands. Under the leadership of the Communist Party, the Anti Japanese democratic government of Su (county) and Huai (yuan) county was established. At the same time, the KMT's Huaiyuan County Government fled to chuhanhu in Longkang District, and there was a puppet Huaiyuan County Government in Huaiyuan County. During the war of liberation, people's democratic regimes in Huaiyuan and Suhuai counties were established in the north and south of Wohe county. In January 1949, the whole territory of Huaiyuan was liberated. In March, the democratic government of workers and peasants in Huaiyuan County was established. Chengguan town was established. In 2016, Chengguan town was cancelled and renamed Jingshan Town (Liucheng town was set up in the north of Wohe River).
