In 1969, six bronze chimes of the spring and Autumn period were unearthed on wanyaocun mountain (now in Zhejiang Provincial Museum). Moon Lake

Wanyao Township, the "back garden" of Jiangshan City, has joined the carnival of tourism development in our city. At the end of last month, zuimeiwanyao scenic spot was successfully established as a national 3A scenic spot, with a newly built 8 km cycling greenway leading directly to its destination, Wanyao Reservoir. Jiangshan wetland is mainly concentrated in Xiakou reservoir (including Baishuikeng reservoir) and Wanyao Reservoir. Wanyao Reservoir Drinking water source protection zone covers an area of 216069 mu, including 178445 mu of forest land, accounting for 82.6%, and 118838 mu of provincial key public welfare forest, accounting for 55%. It is estimated that more than 3 million yuan of ecological benefit compensation fund can be provided for forest farmers in the reservoir area. In April 1993, Wanyao Reservoir, the second largest reservoir in China, officially started construction. In July 1996, the reservoir was closed to store water. It has a rainwater collection area of 212.5 square kilometers and a total storage capacity of 200 million cubic meters. Now it is the main water source for drinking and production in Jiangcheng. Because there is a "Sun Mountain" beside it, some people call it "Moon Lake". Moon Lake, as its name suggests, is clear and peaceful. Looking around, the water is as flat as a mirror, the mountains are covered with green curtain, far away from the noise of the town, occasionally one or two crows of chickens can be heard, almost no other sound can be heard. "More than 20 years ago, 5559 villagers from five townships left their hometown to build the reservoir." Jiang Ziguang said that the people in the reservoir area have made great sacrifices in exchange for today's clean water. Most of the 30000 Mu mountain farms in the reservoir area were left by immigrants. When they left their hometown, many people cut down their own timber trees to raise money for settling down in other places, resulting in the reduction of forest land area. For this reason, the forestry department designated the first ridge line around the reservoir area as the cutting restricted area, and included it in the provincial key ecological public welfare forest for forest protection. Now, after long-term repair, it has been restored to its original appearance. Osmanthus Island

Except for a few wood processing enterprises, there are basically no processing industrial enterprises. On the island of Osmanthus fragrans, there are green stone paths covered with withered branches and rotten leaves, mossy wooden garbage cans and dusty street lamps, which give people the feeling that time stops abruptly. Among the green leaves, a two-story building stands quietly. It still looks good outside. It used to be a teahouse for tourists. Jiang Ziguang said that after the ban on tourism development, it has been abandoned, allowing vegetation to grow in order to repair the ecology.
