Zhangwu town is a town under the jurisdiction of Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the northwest of Anji County, adjacent to Guangde County, Anhui Province, with tianzihu town in the north, tianzihu town in the East, tianzihu Town, Xiaoyuan street and Xiaofeng town in the south. Historical evolution

Zhangwu is located in the south of the county, which is called Zhangnan. In the early years of the Southern Song Dynasty, the Wu clan in Huai'an, Jiangsu Province, moved to the South because of the war, and then settled here. After that, they multiplied and developed, and the population was prosperous. The Wu clan was a big family in the village, so it was called Zhangnan Wujia village, commonly known as Zhangwu village. On May 1, 1949, Xiaofeng was liberated, and the CPC Guang'an sub district committee, Zhangxiao sub district committee and the people's governments of Guang'an Township and Zhangxiao district were successively established. The farmers' associations of Zhangwu and Minle were under the jurisdiction of the township, sub district committee, township and District People's governments. In June 1950, Zhangwu and Minle townships were established successively. In February 1956, Zhangwu and folk music merged to establish Zhangwu township. In October 1958, the combination of government and society was carried out, and Zhangwu and Ximu townships were merged to establish Zhangwu commune, which was merged into Nanhu commune in November. In March 1959, Nanhu commune management area was established. In August 1961, it was changed into Zhangwu commune. In 1983, the government and society were separated and the system of Zhangwu township was restored. In October 1997, it was changed into Zhangwu town.

Wu Changshuo's former residence is located in Zhangwu village. It was built in the late Ming Dynasty. It is a brick and wood structure with two entrances.
