When Bingji was out on an inspection tour, he was driven by a new coachman named Liu Erguang. This man usually likes to drink. He was drunk that day. As soon as he left the city, he vomited and almost lost consciousness. Seeing this, Bingji asked him to go to the car to have a rest, and drove the car by himself. When he returned to the prime minister's house, the housekeeper saw that the prime minister himself had driven the car back, and that Liu Erguang was sleeping soundly in the car, so he woke him up, scolded him, and asked him to leave immediately. Bingji stopped him, and he said to the housekeeper, "you'd better keep him. If you dismiss him because of this and spread it, who dares to ask for him in the future? His job will be gone from now on. How can he live with his family Liu Erguang was very moved when he heard this. He sincerely said that from now on, he will never touch a drop of wine again and devote himself to his job. Since then, Liu Er Guang has not only worked hard to catch a good car for Bingji, but also always looked for opportunities to repay the prime minister. One day, Liu Erguang went to a post station to repair his car. He saw a rider coming out of the post station with a red and white cloth bag on his body. Liu Erguang knew that this meant that there was a great emergency in the frontier. He went forward to inquire about the rider and learned that the border situation was critical. Liu Erguang rushed back to the prime minister's residence and told Bingji. after hearing this, Bingji quickly summoned relevant officials to learn about the border situation. At the same time, the emperor also knew the news of the border, and immediately summoned Bingji and the censor doctor to inquire. Because the censor didn't understand the situation and couldn't answer the emperor's questions, he was dismissed as a citizen. Bingji found out the situation in advance and put forward effective rescue methods, so he got the emperor's reward.
