Brief introduction to Cao Cao
Cao Cao (155-220, March 15), with the Chinese character of mengde, was born in peiguoqiao (now Bozhou, Anhui Province), Han nationality. He was an outstanding statesman, militarist, litterateur and calligrapher at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The founder of the Cao Wei regime in the Three Kingdoms, in the name of the emperor of the Han Dynasty, conquered the four sides, eliminated the separatist forces such as Eryuan, Lvbu, Liubiao and hansui, subdued the southern Xiongnu, Wuhuan and Xianbei, unified northern China, and implemented a series of policies to restore economic production and social order, which laid the foundation for the establishment of the Cao Wei regime. When Cao Cao was alive, he served as the Prime Minister of the Eastern Han Dynasty, later as the king of Wei, and his posthumous title was King Wu after his death. After his son Cao Pi became emperor, he became emperor Wu and the temple name was Taizu.
Cao Cao is good at poetry, expressing his political ambition and reflecting the miserable life of the people in the late Han Dynasty. His prose is also clean and tidy, which opened up and prospered Jian'an Literature and left precious spiritual wealth to later generations. It is known as Jian'an style in history. Lu Xun evaluated him as "the founder of transforming the article". At the same time, Cao Cao is also good at calligraphy, especially Zhang Cao. In the Tang Dynasty, Zhang Huaiyu called it "wonderful product" in shuduan.
