Liang Ji, the son of Liang Shang, a general of the Eastern Han Dynasty, has a shrug on his shoulders and a vertical corner of his eyes. He can't speak clearly. He has been a bohemian since childhood, and likes drinking, hunting and cockfighting. Thanks to the power of his father and his sister who was the queen, the official became more and more powerful.
After Liang Shang died, Emperor Shun appointed Liang Ji as the general. Then Emperor Shun also died, and his infant son Liu Bing succeeded to the throne, known as emperor hanchong in history. A year later, Emperor Chong died again, and many loyal ministers advocated that Liu Suan, king of Qinghe, who was virtuous in years, should be emperor. In order to control the imperial power, Liang Ji forced Liu Zan, who was only eight years old, to be emperor. Although Zhidi was young, he was very clever. Seeing that Liang Ji was very arrogant, he once looked at Liang Ji and said, "this is a domineering general!"
When they decided to establish a new monarch, the ministers jointly wrote a letter demanding Liu Suan to be emperor. At that time, Liu Zhi, the Marquis of Liwu, was discussing marriage with Liang Ji's younger sister, so Liang Ji declared Liu Zhi emperor in public despite the opposition of the ministers. This is emperor Huan of Han Dynasty. Then he killed the two ministers who advocated Liu Suan as emperor.
Liu Zhi became emperor because of the relationship between Liang and Ji, and naturally made his little sister queen. In this way, the Empress Dowager and the queen are his younger sisters, and he is more powerful and reckless. There was a rich man named Shi sunfen. He was very rich, but he was mean by nature. Liang Ji deliberately sent him a carriage and borrowed 50 million yuan from him. Shi sunfen took out 30 million yuan. Liang Ji was so angry that he falsely accused the local government, and then arrested the two brothers. After they died in prison, their family's property of more than 170 million yuan was confiscated. Liang Ji used the money to build luxurious residential gardens and open up large hunting grounds. Just a rabbit garden has been built for several years, stretching for tens of miles.
At that time, a man named Wu Shu took up the post of magistrate of Wan county and said goodbye to Liang Ji. Many of Liang Ji's guests were in Wan County, so he entrusted Wu Shu to take care of them. But Wu Shu didn't follow. Liang Ji is a high-ranking official. He didn't mention a loyal elder to him, but entrusted him to take care of many villains. He really can't follow his orders.
After Wu Shu took office in Wan County, he killed dozens of Liang Ji's guests who were harmful to the people, and Liang Ji hated him to the bone. Later, Wu Shu was appointed as the governor of Jingzhou. When he left, he said goodbye to Liang Ji. Liang Ji specially placed wine and took the opportunity to poison it, so that Wu Shu was poisoned on his way to office.
Later, Liang Ji became the Empress Dowager and the two younger sisters of the empress passed away one after another. Liang Guiren was favored by Emperor Huan. Liang Guiren's real name is Deng Meng. His father died early, and his mother Xuan married Liang Ji, a relative of Liang Ji. When Liang Ji's wife saw that she was beautiful, she thought she was a daughter, changed her name to Liang, and sent her to the palace. As a result, she was favored. Liang Ji was afraid that her mother Xuan would reveal her true feelings, so he sent someone to assassinate her. Unexpectedly, the assassin was found by someone next door to her house and caught him. After learning this, Xuan went to the palace and cried to Emperor Huan. At this time, Emperor Huan was very dissatisfied with the tyranny of Liangji, so he called together some ministers Shangyi, decided to get rid of Liangji, and immediately sent more than 1000 warriors to surround the mansion of Liangji. Liang Ji and his wife knew that they were guilty and committed suicide that day.
