The source of the book of changes
Paraphrase: Bangzi, used to play watchman. Many doors were built to patrol at night. Be on guard. It comes from the book of changes, the second part of the book of Songs: "pay close attention to the door and watch carefully, so as to wait for the mob." Chen Shou's Three Kingdoms, Wu Shu, Xue Zong Zhuan in the Jin Dynasty said, "if you live, you should pay attention to your family and guard against danger; if you live, you should clear up the way and maintain dignity." It refers to the well guarded allusion "strike a watchman at the gate", which comes from the biography of the book of changes. It is said in the biography of Xi Ci that we should pay close attention to the door and guard against the watchman, so as to wait for the mob and take all Yu In this hexagram, the upper part of the hexagram shakes the lower part of the hexagram, the middle part is gen, and the gen is the gate que, which means multiple gates; the earthquake is thunder, which means that if there is a sound of wood, the door is closed and the wooden clapper is hit, so as to prevent the invasion of thieves. This is the meaning of "paying attention to the gate and striking the watchman", which means "preparing for the future".
