Yan Jun Qian Jin
Yan Jun Qian Jin, a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is ā NJ ù nqi ā NJ ī n, which means that it is later used as a code for recruiting talents. It comes from the first yance of the Warring States period.
The origin of Idioms
During the Warring States period, Yanzhao king was eager to recruit talents in order to strengthen the country after he ascended the throne. Guo Kai used horses as a metaphor. He said that the ancient kings offered a reward of thousands of gold to buy a thousand li horse. Three years later, they got a dead horse and used 500 gold to buy horse bones, so they got three thousand li horses in less than one year.
