Zhao Yun ordered the camp to be opened and stopped. He also ordered the bowmen to lie in ambush inside and outside the village and wait for the enemy. The suspicious Cao Cao chased the gate of the village and thought that when the gate was wide open, there would be ambush, so he ordered to retreat in a hurry. Just as Cao Cao's army turned around and retreated, the golden drums in the Shu barracks were singing in unison, killing the sky and shooting arrows at Cao Cao like rain. In horror, Cao Jun trampled himself and fell into the Han River, drowning countless people.
