Wu Hua Sha Ma, a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is w ǔ Hu ā sh ā m ǎ, which means a horse with withered hair. It refers to old age and infirmity. It's from "waves wash sand".
The idiom comes from Zhao Zhixin's poem "waves washing sand" in the Qing Dynasty: "I suddenly remember the emperor of the Song Dynasty who endured the cold with half an arm, and the five flowers who killed the Bachelor of the king of Ma.
