If you swallow a boat, it is a leak

As a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is t ū nzh ō ush ì L ò u, which originally refers to a big fish who has missed the net. Later, it often refers to a person who has committed a big crime and is at large. It comes from the biography of Chen Qing in southern history.

The origin of Idioms

In the biography of Chen Qingzhi, the southern history, it is said that "if the Lord bends the law, he will be gracious, but if he swallows the boat, it will be a leak."
