Idiom story
King Zhou of Shang Dynasty was the last monarch of Shang Dynasty. It is said that he was a tyrannical and fatuous monarch. He was greedy for wine and lust, indulgent in immorality, and spent all his time drinking and having fun, ignoring the government. He believed in slander, used treacherous officials, tortured the loyal and the good, killed the innocent, forced the people to build their own palace with huge money. He was inhumane, made all kinds of torture, and enjoyed watching people's pain after being tortured. Under his rule of darkness, the people complained and suffered. Although the territory of the Shang Dynasty was vast, it started from the East China Sea in the East, reached the uninhabited desert in the west, started from Jiaozhi in the south of Wuling in the south, and ended in Youzhou in the north. The army was stationed at leisurely pass until pushui. There were no fewer than tens of thousands of soldiers, but when they started to fight, because they didn't want to die for King Zhou, they threw their weapons aside. The morale of the Shang army was so low that the Shang regime was in danger. Therefore, when King Wu of Zhou came unstoppably in his chariot with a large Tomahawk decorated with gold in his left hand and a white flag decorated with yak tail in his right hand, he was invincible everywhere he went. The defeat of King Zhou's army and the collapse of King Zhou's regime in Shang Dynasty were like the disintegration of tiles and the collapse of mud, which were quick and irreparable.
