The flesh and the bone
As a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is R ǎ NGJ ī J í g ǔ, which means invasion of hinterland. From fayan Chongli.
The idiom comes from "Fa Yan Chong Li" written by Yang Xiong of Han Dynasty: "it is within the four regions, each invading with its own strength, and it can stir up the flesh and bones. How can Nan Du control Qin?"
