Idiom story
This is recorded in the chapter of autumn water in Zhuangzi. Confucius traveled around the world and passed Kuang. Because he looked like Yang Hu, who had invaded Kuang, and his student Yan Hui said that he had followed Yang Hu to Kuang, which angered Kuang people. So he was surrounded by Kuang people and couldn't get away. Another student of Confucius, Zilu, was scattered at first. He worried that the old man could not afford to be frightened and rushed into the encirclement. Unexpectedly, Confucius was talking and laughing, but also playing the piano, not depressed. Zilu asked: "teacher, why do you still have such interest?" Confucius replied, "I tell you, it's the courage of fishermen who are not afraid of dragons in the water; it's the courage of hunters who are not afraid of tigers and leopards in the wild; it's the courage of soldiers who are not afraid to rush forward in the face of bright swords and guns; it's the courage of sages who are in charge of their own destiny, understand the current situation, and are not afraid of great difficulties." "Facing great difficulties without fear" was later simplified as the idiom "facing difficulties without fear" or "facing danger without fear".
