Li guangweifeng, a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is l ǐ Gu ǎ NGW è if ē ng, which means that many people under Li Guang, a famous general of the Han Dynasty, were granted Marquis because of his military achievements. However, Li Guang himself was not granted Marquis because of his outstanding achievements in fighting against Xiongnu. It comes from "going to Jingnan to bid farewell to Li Jianzhou" by Du Fu of Tang Dynasty.
origin
At the beginning of the biography of General Li in Shiji, Guangzhi's younger brother, Li Cai, was Emperor Xiaowen. During the reign of emperor Jing, Cai Ji made contributions to two thousand stones. When Emperor Xiaowu was in power, he was the prime minister. In the fifth year of Yuanshuo, he was a general of light vehicles. He attacked Youxian king from the general's army and was granted the title of Marquis of Le'an. In the second year of Yuanshou, Sun Hong was the prime minister. As a man, Cai had a great reputation in xiazhong. However, he was not a marquis, and his official rank was no more than Jiuqing. The military officials and soldiers of Zhuguang may take the title of marquis. Wang Shuo said in Yan language, "since the Han Dynasty, Guang has been one of those who attacked Xiongnu. However, only those who were under the captains of the various departments were inferior to the middle class. However, dozens of people won the marquis by attacking Hu army, but Guang was not a descendant. However, those who did not have an inch of merit to win the title of the capital were not so good? Why should I not be a Hou Xie? What's your life? "Shuo said," the general thought to himself, did he have any hatred? "Guangyue said," I try to defend Longxi, and Qiang try to rebel. I lure and fall. More than 800 people fall. I cheat and kill them on the same day. So far, this is the only one I hate. Shuo said, "the disaster is not greater than killing. This is a general, so he is not a marquis. When he was two years old, the general and the general of Hushi attacked the Xiongnu. The emperor thought that he was old, but he thought that he was a former general. Yes, I was four years old. When Guang attacked the Xiongnu from the general Qing, he went out of the fortress and captured Shan Yu. However, he went out of the fortress and ordered Guang to join the right general. The host country seldom goes back far, but the army has little water and grass, so it is not able to travel in garrison. Guangzi asked: "the minister's department is a former general. Today's general has moved his ministers out of the host country, and they have joined forces to fight against the Huns. Now it's proper for him to be single Yu. He is willing to stay in the front and die first. "General Qing also accepted the commandment. He thought that Li guanglao was so strange that he could not be expected. Wei mengkang of the Three Kingdoms said, "strange, but not coupled.". Yan shigu of Tang Dynasty said, "the word is broad, and the life is uncoupled. Meng said yes. 」

Li Guang, a famous general in Han Dynasty, was brave and good at fighting. He fought more than 70 battles with Xiongnu in his whole life, and his reputation was far-reaching. Xiongnu ran away and called him "flying general". "But the flying General of Longcheng is not called Hu Ma Du Yin Mountain" and "you don't see the hardships of the battle, and you still remember General Li" are all famous words praising him. However, Li Guang's failure to win the title of marquis led to the regret of historians and the melancholy of the people.
In the era of Emperor Wu, it was the era of opening up territory and rewarding military achievements. Li Guang was Zhonglang when he was younger than Li Cai, Wen emperor, and he fought against Xiongnu when he was Emperor Jing. He was granted the title of marquis Le'an and became prime minister. Li and CAI are of the same origin, officials and military achievements. Li's character, talent and reputation are far inferior to Li Guang's, but his official name and title are superior to Li Guang's. Li Gan, Li Guang's son, followed Huo Qubing to the Xiongnu army as a school captain. He was given the title of Marquis of Guannei because he seized the flag of Zuo Xian king and beheaded many people. Even many of Li Guang's military officials won the Marquis with military merit. However, Li Guang himself galloped in the battlefield and spent his whole life in the army. During the three dynasties of Emperor Wen, Emperor Jing and Emperor Wu, he was always difficult to be a marquis, and finally he committed suicide. For thousands of years, people have put forward various opinions. Some people say that his life is not good, Wang Wei's "veteran line": "Wei Qing is not defeated by luck, Li Guang's failure is rare." Some people say that although he is brave in fighting, he is not good at using troops and lacks political mind and ability to run the army. It is also said that Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty valued his relatives and trusted Wei Qing and Huo Qubing, but did not really value Li Guang. He even deliberately excluded him and did not give him a chance to perform meritorious service. Later generations regard Li Guang as a representative figure who is talented but unable to display.
